Setting up your Pupoon is easy.

Just follow the simple steps below and you’ll be set to go!

How to use your Pupoon

Attach to your lead

  1. Remove the top silicone ring and unscrew the upper cap from the capsule body.

  2. Undo the inner lid.

  3. Thread the end of a bag from a standard-sized dog poop bag roll through the mouth of the dispenser. Leave the bag end poking out about 2cm. Sit the bag roll squarely on the dispenser bed so bags can be easily pulled through.

  4. Secure the inner lid.

  5. Remove the silicone strap from the main body of the capsule.

  6. Feed the lead buckle through the back of the silicone strap, starting at the top ring, and then weaving down through all of the cut-outs until you reach the bottom ring. (Start with the buckle going under, and then alternate over and under, for best results).

  7. Pull the Pupoon strap into the position on the lead that works best for you and your dog ie high, midway or low.

  8. Stretch the middle ring of the Pupoon silicone strap around the middle cutout on the capsule. Fasten the lower ring.

  9. Screw on the upper lid containing bag roll.

  10. Stretch the top ring of the strap into place, making sure it sits snuggly into its moulded cut-out and check that the remainder of the strap is properly aligned with the capsule cutouts and fastened. Note, full closure of the lid and proper alignment of the strap are key to keeping the Pupoon securely in place.

Using your Pupoon

  • Pull out a bag and tear from the dispenser (bags sold separately)

  • Pick up the poop in the bag and tie a knot in the end, ensuring the bag is not full of air

  • Lift off the top silicone strap from the Pupoon and unscrew the top of the capsule

  • Place the bag into the storage chamber

  • Screw the lid back on

  • Replace the silicone strap on the Pupoon lid

  • Carry on… and don’t forget to empty the Pupoon when you get home!

Pupoon Tips

  • When dispensing bags, don’t pull hard, or pull out too much of the next bag – 2cm is enough - before tearing along the perforated line

  • Try not to capture air in the bag as it takes up unnecessary space in the capsule

  • Rinse and air out the capsule after emptying the poop into the rubbish bin

  • Wash the Pupoon with soapy water when needed to keep it fresh!

  • Ensure both lids are always securely fastened, and the silicone strap is properly aligned with the container, to keep the Pupoon in place when walking

  • The Pupoon also works well on a crossbody strap; attach it to a separate dog lead and hook the buckle to the handle so you can wear it front or back
